These are the terms of use for Astrolab (astrolab.nikam.dev), a career-guidance platform. By using the service you accept them. If you are under 18, use the service with the knowledge of a parent or legal guardian.
What Astrolab is
Astrolab helps you get your bearings among professions: you take a test, get an interest profile and matched occupations with study paths. It is an informational and educational service.
An estimate, not a guarantee
Results are an estimate based on the RIASEC model, not a diagnosis and not a guarantee of admission, employment or income. You make your own decisions about career and education; always verify exact requirements on official university sites.
Payment
The service is currently free. If paid features appear, payment terms will be described separately and in advance, with no hidden charges.
Account
You can take the test without an account. An account (by email) is only needed to save your results and come back to them. Answer honestly — the usefulness of the result depends on it. Don't create an account on someone else's email.
What's not allowed
You may not disrupt the service, try to hack it, mass-export data, impersonate another person or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Content rights
The texts, methodology and design belong to the Astrolab project. Your answers belong to you; how we handle them is described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate, but we're not responsible for decisions you make based on the results, and it doesn't replace a professional's advice.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll flag material changes on the site.
